FAME Talks 2025 gathers powerful global design voices

Beyond the immersive trade show, Manila FAME 2025 is a convergence of experts from the global design landscape. This year’s edition features a compelling lineup of internationally acclaimed designers, industry leaders, and creative changemakers who will explore the future of design across various disciplines. FAME Talks, happening from October 16 to 18, 2025, will provide attendees with exclusive access to insights and strategies at the intersection of creativity, innovation, and cultural identity.
FAME Talks invites professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs to engage in timely conversations that impact the future of the home, fashion, and lifestyle sectors.
Day 1 – October 16, Thursday
- Beyond Form: Rethinking Design and Practice (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
Presented by the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), this session explores how architecture and design transcend aesthetics to influence communities and everyday living. - Filipino Fashion Forum (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM)
Led by the Philippine Fashion Coalition (PFC), the forum delves into design innovation, cultural heritage, and intellectual property protection within the Philippine fashion industry.
Day 2 – October 17, Friday
- The Journey in Between: A Design Retrospect by Hector Serrano (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
In partnership with the Embassy of Spain in Manila and the Design Center of the Philippines, award-winning Spanish designer Hector Serrano shares lessons from his 25 years of creative work. - Philippines Forward: Building Global Opportunities in Jewelry, Footwear & Accessories (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
President & CEO of the New York-based Accessories Council, Karen Giberson, leads a conversation on elevating craftsmanship, refining production, and enhancing global branding. - Filipino Creativity: Asia’s Next Design Frontier (3:00 PM – 4:30 PM)
A select panel of local and internationally acclaimed innovators and authorities in the global design scene discusses the evolution of Philippine design and its growing global presence. - Speakers
