About the Award

KATHA Award accepts fully implemented works from Philippine-registered companies that participated in Manila FAME 2025.
Entries must have been launched or made available to the market in 2025.
Products and booths designed by CITEM, its contracted Product Development Specialists, and Design Center were eligible to join.

Evaluation Criteria

For Best Product Design
FORM: Execution of the idea, presentation, appeal, and ability to communicate purpose.
FUNCTION: Capability of product to deliver its intended purpose with clarity.
INNOVATION: Ingenuity and capacity to enrich human life with new or improved material or process.
POSITIVE USER EXPERIENCE: Deep understanding of end-users considering usability, accessibility, and emotional impact.
MALASAKIT: Measurable impact in line with United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
For Best Booth Design
CONCEPT (25%): Strength and clarity of the idea reflecting the brand's identity.
USE OF SPACE (25%): Efficiency and creativity in maximizing the booth layout for an inviting atmosphere.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION (25%): How well products are showcased to highlight features and benefits.
VISUAL APPEAL (25%): The overall aesthetic quality to capture attention and evoke interest.
