About the Program

The Artisans Village is a dedicated program of Manila FAME designed to strengthen and promote the craftsmanship of regional artisans across the Philippines. Implemented in collaboration with Local Government Units and the Department of Trade and Industry’s Regional and Provincial Offices, the program provides a structured platform for MSMEs in the handcrafted sector to enhance their competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.

Through targeted interventions in business and product development, supported by local and international design experts, participating enterprises gain access to technical assistance, marketing support, and capacity-building initiatives. The program further amplifies visibility for homegrown brands through curated product showcases and digital promotions, positioning them to meet export standards and buyer requirements.

As an integral feature of Manila FAME—the country’s premier trade event for home, fashion, and lifestyle products—the Artisans Village demonstrates the sustained commitment to empowering MSMEs, fostering regional development, and advancing the Philippines’ presence in the global creative economy.
