The KATHA Awards gives distinction to ingenious designs and encourages manufacturers to raise their design standards for Philippine export products and pursue a skillful exploration of new materials/processes.
Distinguishes new, innovative, purposeful, and artistically rendered interpretations of design ideas for furniture, home décor and houseware, lamps and lighting, fashion, and holiday and gifts products that inspire, level up, and positively transform lifestyle. One winner will be chosen from each product category.
Distinguishes a product or product collection developed with respect for a healthier and more sustainable environment. The products nominated for this category should exemplify the following:
This special citation recognizes the booth design that captures the very essence of a smart, effective visual merchandising display. One (1) winner will be chosen for this category. One winner will be chosen from each product category.
This special citation recognizes the booth design that makes intelligent, beautiful, and effective use of sustainable materials. One (1) winner will be chosen for this category.
Multiple submissions per company are allowed. Kindly accomplish one form per submission.

All products of exhibiting companies in the 72nd edition of Manila FAME Edition are eligible for self-nomination to the KATHA Awards Best Product and Eco-Design Categories except those developed or created by designers directly hired by and compensated for by CITEM for its Manila FAME Product Development Program. Products developed in partnership with the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) for Artisans Village are eligible.
Exhibiting companies whose booth design and product presentation exemplify the best of what the Manila FAME exhibitors can offer can be nominated for the Best Booth Design and Best Sustainable Booth Design Categories.
The Artisans Village is not eligible for the Best Booth Design category.
