FASHIONPhilippines Milan is an international mentorship and exhibition program of the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) designed to showcase the ingenuity and global potential of Filipino fashion designers. In collaboration with the Philippine Fashion Coalition (PFC), LIT Consultancy, Fondazione Sozzani, and DOST-Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI), the program aims to provide Filipino designers with expert mentorship and opportunities to enter the European fashion market.

This innovative program will select emerging or established Filipino fashion brands and designers, who will be offered mentorship programs from international fashion industry experts and get the chance to showcase their collections during the September edition of Milan Fashion Week 2025.

MENTORSHIP

Creative Planning, Collection Development, and One-on-One sessions with top industry experts

To ensure the highest caliber of participants, fashion brands and designers will undergo a comprehensive screening and selection process, with only 10-15 fashion designers or brands to be selected for the program.

The participants will undergo a mentorship program led by the Philippine Fashion Coalition supported by LIT Fashion Consultancy in Manila and by Fondazione Sozzani with fashion industry professionals in Milan.

EXHIBITION IN MILAN

The program will culminate in a 3-day curated showcase at Fondazione Sozzani Milan during the September edition of Milan Fashion Week 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Philippine Fashion Coalition membership. If not yet a member, apply here.
  • Filipino national with a legitimate & registered business in the Philippines for at least 2 years.
  • Products must be manufactured in the Philippines (with an option for manufacturing support).
  • Must have released at least two (2) collections in the past two years and present 15-20 designs during the application.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Brand Profile
  • Line sheets for two (2) past collections, including USD price points
  • Catalog or lookbook for the last two (2) collections
  • Photos of hang tags, logo, care instructions, and product packaging
  • Scanned copy of current passport
  • BIR Registration
  • Links to website(s), social media accounts, DTC platforms, past or ongoing collaborations with retail brands, and press releases from the last two (2) years
