Home at FAME features curated furniture, lighting, and decor by expert Filipino designers Design Commune. It blends nature's beauty with modern design. It uses local materials like metal, wood, and natural textiles to create sleek, modern art pieces celebrating the Philippines' natural beauty and design talent.
For this year’s edition of MANILA FAME, HOME AT FAME — which I will be curating — will be aligned with the overall theme of the show entitled “BLOOM.”
Ten (10) prestigious companies from Pampanga, Manila, and Cebu will be producing my designs using different materials such as metal, natural materials, ceramics, and wood.
The overall design direction for HOME AT FAME will showcase a modern, minimalist, natural, and organic form utilizing the materials and specialties that each manufacturer is renowned for. The overall curation will reflect a modern and minimalist approach to design, highlighting Filipino craftsmanship and celebrating the unique identity of Philippine-made products through form, material, and restraint.
This collection aims to embody the theme of “BLOOM” by illustrating growth, renewal, and the quiet strength of Philippine design — where regional expertise from across the country comes together in one cohesive presentation.
