The ladies from Western Visayas learned the bobbin lace technique from Catholic missionaries. It is a very long, delicate and tedious method of twisting and braiding thread to create lace textile. Ylang Ylang flowers were first woven individually, then separately sewn onto the linen. The Ylang Ylang Midi Dress in Cloud is the founder’s personal favourite in the collection. The dress can be worn with or without the self-tie belt that it comes with.
