The ZARATE x Nazareno/Lichauco Saucer Collection is a nod to retro-futurism, noting a variety of references such as The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine to futuristic ski chalets and the ideas of flying saucers. Somehow, we remember the past’s faith in and anticipation of technology.
The Saucer Collection – including Saucer Periscope lamps, Saucer Porthole pieces (bench, shelf and coat rack) and The Saucer coffee and side tables exhibit a playfulness and an animated quality that lends itself to Jim Zarate Torres' expertise in metalwork.
