THE COZY NOOK PH is an online business offering handcrafted, multi-purpose storage boxes and baskets.
The products are made of plant fibers that are sustainably and locally sourced from skilled artisans across the Bicol region. TCNPH pride themselves on envisioning and making high-quality, purposefully designed home decor that are both eco-friendly and durable.
With these products, they aim to empower the local communities by showcasing Bicolano craftsmanship.
The brand name was inspired by one of the owners’ favorite spots to stay in their home during the earlier months of the lockdown.
As with many newly opened businesses, THE COZY NOOK PH was conceived and launched right in the middle of the pandemic back in August 2020 by two young mothers – one a Bicolana native, and the other with Bicolana roots – with theobjective of improving their livelihoods that were affected by the pandemic while at the same time uplifting the weaving communities in the Bicol region, who are mostly made up of women and farmers looking to augment their income.
