As best friends since grade school, Carmencita “Cit” Sioson and Denise “Den” Juan continue to share similar interests. Using Cit’s experience as a former stylist and editor and Den’s background in sales, as well as their marketing degree, they decided to create Ta LouLou in October of 2018. 

They launched Ta LouLou with children’s wear and introduced a women’s line shortly after. Today, Ta LouLou has grown into a lifestyle brand that includes footwear, home and accessories collections, and a customization service. A menswear collection is also in the works.

In line with this growth is building a community that not only advocates slow fashion through thoughtfully-made pieces, but also values the importance of uplifting each other and finding inspiration through creativity.



Ta LouLou was created with the mission to inspire others to be at their best by surrounding themselves with the things they love and things that inspire them — especially during these times of great uncertainty when our own creative endeavors continue to contribute to our wellbeing. 

Ta LouLou seeks to offer pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia and that remind others to appreciate precious moments and things that are made with great care and thought.

With women’s wear and children’s wear collections that usually include ruffles and bows, the brand’s designs continue to be dainty and feminine, which stems from its founders’ love of ballet as they both grew up taking classes together. Some designs also feature a minimalist and pared-down aesthetic resulting to pieces that can be easily mixed and matched.

Through Ta LouLou’s signature details like dainty flower cutouts and interchangeable/multiway straps and customization and hand embroidery services, customers are sure to get pieces they would love to wear over and over again.

Ultimately, the Ta LouLou lifestyle is one that encourages creativity, advocates a life of purpose, and celebrates even the simplest moments.
