Sarilinlikha is a Filipino word that translates to locally crafted. Sarilinlikha Novelties is a company that manufactures festive and holiday décor. Established in 1992 by Dr. Romeo P. Balderrama, Jr., an anesthesiologist and acupuncturist by profession, he is an artist and Ikebana enthusiast at heart. Sarilinlikha is Dr. Balderrama’s creative expression using local materials and craftsmanship. The company began manufacturing vases with indigenous materials such as abaca, wood shavings and palo china or pine wood pallets. They also ventured into the production of Christmas ornaments. Sarilinlikha’s collection of Christmas balls are as timeless now as they were when they launched their first collection in 1992. Created by livelihood communities of women in the hills of Antipolo, each Christmas ball is handcrafted using recycled plastic and clothing materials like velvet, cords, beads and tassels.
For almost 30 years, Sarilinlikha has exported to United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Brazil, China, Spain and Australia. In the Christmas Village in Germany’s Black Forest, Sarilinlikha’s Christmas Ornaments are sold year-round.
Sarilinlikha Novelties office and factory is located at Taguig City.
