Celestial Arts is an export company that manufactures premium wooden tableware and homeware. With almost 30 years of experience, it is able to produce its own designs as well as those of its buyers. The company also works with clients on product development to create made-to-order pieces. Celestial Arts’ products meet global standards in quality and safety, passing rigorous tests by third-party testing laboratories.

Celestial Arts started as a home-based business by Ms. Esperanza Ruth S. Hilado, an artist and entrepreneur. Combining passion and business insight, she analyzed market opportunities and entered the woodware exporting industry. Her first major breakthrough was successfully signing with Pottery Barn, an upscale home furnishing store in the United States. From Hilado carving the first products with her own hands, Celestrial Arts has now transformed into a full-range exporter with its own production facility.

Celestial Arts designs and manufactures handcrafted wares such as servers, vases, bowls, and platters that may double as decorative pieces. These are made mainly from Philippine wood mixed with metal and natural materials. The company uses quality hardwoods such as acacia and mango. Acacia is highly durable and water-resistant with a naturally smooth and attractive grain. On the other hand, mango is strong but lightweight, has moderate durability that is strengthened by protective finishes, and possesses an internal structure that repels water damage. Celestial Arts is also capable of working with and producing materials from capiz, tingting (dried palm midribs), shell, fiber, straw, and laminated items.

With a production capability of 10,000 units per month, Celestial Arts can efficiently design and produce entire product lines based on the clients’ needs and specifications. The final products are not only high quality, but also designed to comply with global safety requirements. All wares undergo product safety tests, food safety checks, and package assessments by certified testing laboratories such as Bureau Veritas and other 3rd party assessors sent by its foreign customers.

Currently, Celestial Arts exports to the United States, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Its major buyers include Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom, and Roost, among others.

Celestial Arts is located in Marikina City.
