A traditional chestbox, ecologically-sustainable as well as a cultural-preservation implement--meticulously designed and crafted by master artisans utilizing mature rattan naturally growing in the forests of the Cordilleras. The intricate weaving patterns are symbolic of the natural surroundings and wildlife endemic in the region. No two chestboxes are alike, each chestbox represents either a lasndscape feature, natural flora and/or fauna sacred to the Indigenous people of the region.
