Zapateria generally works with the shoemaking community, aiming to foster the creative talents of each artisan and designer-maker as a foundation for a healthy and successful industry. As a creative hub based in Marikina, Zapateria's services also extend outside the city like Makati, Laguna, Cebu, and Davao.
We keep the traditional making but also innovate in the process with high regard to Filipino making. We cascade the expertise and know-how of our skilled artisans to the next or new generation to preserve the tradition and make it better. We also transfer knowledge and train partner manufacturers to enable them to take on more original designs and better production which will be beneficial for the industry as a whole.
We collaborate in many ways at the hub with designers, artists, other hubs in making beautiful shoes that we all can be proud of and in spreading the love of shoemaking.
