The Small Business Corporation (SBCorp) is a non-bank, government-owned or –controlled corporation (GOCC) created in 1991 under the Magna Carta for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Republic Act No. 6977, as amended), administratively attached to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and mandated to implement comprehensive policies and programs to assist MSMEs in all areas including, but not limited to, finance and information services, training and marketing.
