FTSC can help in growing businesses of Philippine MSMEs that are interested and prepared for internationalization. Through its overseas DTI posts – the Philippine Trade and Investment Centers (PTICs) – FTSC aids in the international promotion of Philippine exports and the increase in market share in priority sectors through efforts such as market assessment, business matching activities, trade fair participation, trade missions, in-store promotion, and other efforts in mainstreaming our homegrown products and in accessing foreign markets.

As the DTI’s representatives in key markets abroad, our overseas offices provide substantive inputs to trade negotiations with its extensive knowledge about the markets and its current policies and regulations. By working together with other relevant agencies and partners, our PTICs take part in advocating better market access for Philippine products and participate in concluding negotiations of trade agreements.
