Together with our artisans and designers, we eagerly explore the capabilities and expressions of natural materials.
Now more than ever, we recognize the immense responsibility of each entrepreneur towards our local communities by providing employment and promoting the use of indigenous materials.
The pandemic allows us to step back from the global outlook and recognize once more the massive talent and huge resources available locally.
Beginning at the grassroots and creating a unique synergy with other entrepreneur-communities is a vital way of contributing to the restoration of a more robust national economy hit by uncertainty.
LIJA has always championed the Filipino first mindset, and we will continue to do so especially in more challenging times.

We have collaborated with talented designers such as Wataru Sakuma with bamboo, Nelson Sepulveda with basketwork, Olivia d’Aboville with fabric and Balay ni Atong’s Al Valenciano with indigenous woven textiles, to name a few.
Our company has evolved over the years, proudly earning awards along the way. Among these are: the prestigious G-Mark of the Japan Industrial Design Promotion
Organization (jidpo), and Katha Awards at Manila FAME, a hallmark of design excellence and innovation in Philippine products.
