Wataru Sakuma for Masaeco
Improving on a piece originally created for a 2016 exhibition, designer Wataru Sakuma illustrates the passage and persistence of change through cartography and paper pulp. Intricately cut maps of the city of Milan hang atop one another; the changes of proximity of space between each map mimic light and shadows. Time gradation is seen through a monochrome tower of geographical scenery.
